OA Dark users wont have this problem as fonts are yellow. Original Darnified Start menu Fonts were too dark to look good with that menu : i changed color to middle grey.

If it happens you are not using a mod manager, I suggest using Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) which can be obtained from Tesnexus Oblivion Site. Maybe try deactivating, and then reactivating the Mod in Mod manager, and choosing Normal? for LOD level 4, the noise texture is repeated 3 times to cover 4 cells, for LOD level 8, the noise texture is repeated 3 times to cover 8 cells and so on. The textures is tiled 3x3 per LOD quad, e.g. There is a list of different font styles, and an option when you have chosen your font, to have large or normal! i always pick normal, and have no problems. Only the red channel is used in case the textures is not a grey channel format.
